Jet Guitars - JT 300 Sunburst

Ranging from deep brown to light amber, the Sunburst finish on the Jet Guitars JT 300 outlines the contours of a T-shaped electric guitar designed for a direct attack. The solid body, crafted from roasted poplar, feels light under the fingers and tightens up the bass response, whilst the long scale length, characteristic of the T-shape, stretches each string to a cutting high end.

The roasted Canadian maple neck, with a Modern C profile, nestles in the palm and allows the hand to glide smoothly from one position to the next. Its roasted maple fingerboard – also available in rosewood depending on the model – features a generous radius that smooths out bends, whilst the nut width ensures there’s enough space between the strings for even the densest chords. Twenty-two frets run the length of the neck, supported by a dual-action truss rod that corrects the neck’s curvature as the seasons change. The bone nut transmits the vibration of the strings without dampening it during tuning, and the fixed bridge channels the energy of the playing directly into the wood.

The ceramic SS pickup delivers a raw tone, tailored for rock and electric blues, with controls for volume, tone and a three-position selector switch. The white pickguard and chrome tuners and hardware complete the look with a light finish that contrasts with the torrefied wood.
