Jet Guitars JT 600 BS G Tobacco Burst The Jet Guitars JT-600 BS G Tobacco Burst stands out in the world of electric guitars with its mahogany body topped with a flamed maple top and gold-coloured hardware — a combination that evokes the 1950s whilst looking ahead to 2025. Its HS J-Rail / T-Neck Alnico pickup configuration and bone/polymer fibre nut deliver a benchmark sound, whilst the gold-plated locking tuners ensure pitch stability on stage.

Presentation
The Jet Guitars JT-600 BS G Tobacco Burst draws on a very specific aesthetic: that of the guitars that shaped American rock and country, reimagined to meet today’s standards. The flamed maple top on a mahogany body creates that classic tonal duality — the clarity and bite of the maple on the surface, the warmth and roundness of the mahogany beneath. The Tobacco Burst finish reveals the grain of the flamed maple without overwhelming it. The fully gold-plated hardware ties the whole design together with a visual coherence that is anything but random.
The roasted Canadian maple neck with a roasted maple fingerboard is a rare find: two layers of heat-treated wood, ensuring maximum stability even amidst the temperature fluctuations of a van tour. The Modern C profile and 41.9 mm nut width position this instrument between the comfort of vintage narrow-neck models and the freedom of a slightly more generous body size — ideal for medium to large hands. The 241.3 mm (9.5″) radius naturally suits barre chords, and the 22 frets on roasted maple provide a crisp, bright attack without any unwanted flex. The dual-action truss rod allows for adjustments in both directions, which is a real game-changer in the workshop.
On the electronics front, the HS configuration—with a J-Rail at the bridge and a T-Neck at the neck—is a pleasant surprise: the J-Rail isn’t a conventional humbucker—it’s a pickup design that combines the wide frequency response of a double-coil with the definition of a single-coil. The 3-way selector switch, volume and tone controls are all you need to manage everything. The fixed bridge locks in the intonation and transfers the vibrational energy directly to the body. Here, every note counts.
