The Keeley Dark Side Workstation is a pedal designed for guitarists who like to explore and shape their sound in depth.
It combines everything you could possibly need to create unique textures in a single box: fuzz, modulation and delay. The fuzz section is inspired by the classic circuits of the 70s, but has been redesigned to let the guitar breathe.
Whether you play through a single pickup or a humbucker, it reproduces the nuances of your instrument while adding sustain and presence, without masking your playing. The idea is to give each note its own colour, while preserving the essence of your natural sound.
When it comes to modulation and delay, the Dark Side offers a surprising range. The multi-head delay can reproduce the charm of the old tape machines, with subtle filters for warmth and musicality.
You can synchronise your repeats or create oscillations, and control everything with an expression pedal to adjust feedback or tempo in real time.
The modulation section includes flanger, phaser, U-Vibe and rotary speaker, with the option of mixing effects to create new textures. Everything has been thought out so that you can shape your sound with precision, but without unnecessary complexity.
Its analogue circuitry and 24-bit DSP engine produce nuances that no other pedal can reproduce exactly, not even Keeley.
