With the Keeley Super Rodent, you've got a real riff box under your feet, capable of spanning several decades of rock and metal. This 4-in-1 pedal condenses 2 legendary circuits - the Japanese Super-O-Drive and the Michigander Rodentia - and adds two hybrid modes to take things even further. Everything remains 100% analogue, with an immediate, organic response that integrates naturally with your amp and your playing.
The ingenuity of the Super Rodent lies in its selectors. On the one hand, you decide the colour of your tone: simple filtering to channel the highs, or wider equalisation to bring out the bass and brilliance.
On the other, you choose your clipping style: hard and sharp for incisive distortion, or softer, close to a pushed amp, for warm, round attacks. It's this mix that allows you to go from a nervous crunch to dense saturation without ever losing definition.
Compact and robust, the Super Rodent retains a minimalist interface: three pots, an intelligent footswitch that switches from true to buffered bypass by holding down the pedal, and a 9V to 18V power supply for adjusting the dynamics to suit your preferences.
