The KH 310 II R is the right-hand version of the Neumann three-way studio monitor. It combines a 210 mm ELFF woofer, a 75 mm midrange driver and a 25 mm tweeter with an advanced DSP architecture compatible with MA 1 (optional). Its frequency response of 36 Hz to 20 kHz at ±1.25 dB, its linearity of ±0.6 dB and its maximum SPL of 121.4 dB SPL in half-space make it a particularly accurate monitoring tool.

The Neumann KH 310 II R is a three-way studio monitor designed for critical monitoring applications in recording, music production, post-production, broadcast and mastering studios, as well as for immersive audio set-ups.
This model is the right-hand speaker of the KH 310 II system. It features a three-way design with a 210 mm (8 1/4") woofer, a 75 mm (3") magnetically shielded midrange driver and a 25 mm (1") tweeter fitted with a black metal protective grille.
The woofer utilises ELFF technology and the system employs a sealed enclosure, designed to ensure accurate reproduction of the bass range. The frequency response is 29 Hz to 21 kHz at ±6 dB, 33 Hz to 21 kHz at ±3 dB and 36 Hz to 20 kHz at ±1.25 dB. Linearity is specified at ±0.6 dB from 100 Hz to 10 kHz.
The system incorporates an active digital DSP controller with 32-bit audio processing and 64-bit double-precision arithmetic. Automatic room calibration is provided via the optional MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment. FIR phase correction ensures linear phase response between 60 Hz and 18 kHz.
Connectivity includes an electronically balanced XLR analogue input, as well as an AES3id digital input and output via 75 Ω BNC connectors. The monitor can be controlled locally or via the network, and the delay can be set up to 120 ms.
The amplification comprises three Class D channels delivering 300 W for the bass, 160 W for the midrange and 125 W for the tweeter, with the limiter disabled and THD+N at 10 per cent. Independent protection against soft clipping, peaks, overheating and excessive bass excursion completes the system.
