Lindell Audio - LiN76

The LiN76 follows in the footsteps of the FET compressors that have been indispensable since the 1970s. Designed to recapture the timbre, responsiveness and behaviour of their predecessors, it is equally suited to recording studios and mixing environments looking for a fast, expressive and immediately musical tool.

Its FET circuit offers extremely fast attack times, ideal for controlling the transients of vocals, drums or bass, while retaining the energy and punch of the original signal. The US-made input and output transformers contribute to this dense, lively sound signature, with faithful reproduction of the midrange and excellent bass response.

The LiN76 offers several fixed ratios, ranging from 4:1 to 20:1, as well as the famous 'all-button' mode, sought after for its aggressive character and unique dynamic saturation. Continuous attack and release controls allow the compressor response to be precisely tailored to each source, from subtle control to very pronounced compression.

Its vintage-style analogue meter allows precise visual control of gain reduction, and its deliberately simple interface makes it easy to get to grips with.
