Presentation
In fingerstyle, the tension is ideal for precise control of nuances. The extra jumbo frets facilitate fluid playing. They ensure good note sustain.
When playing with a pick, the touch remains clean and precise. The construction in swamp ash and the profile of the thin U neck allow for comfortable performance.
Live, the clarity of this bass stands out. The combination of the Seymour Duncan SSB-4N and SSB-4B ensures a clean separation of frequencies.
In particular, the low end is punchy while maintaining clear and distinct mids.
In a mix, these tones allow the bass to be heard without getting lost in the rest of the group.
To adjust a good balance between bass and mids, start by adjusting the Seymour Duncan equalizer.
Slightly increase the bass for a more present tone. Then adjust the mids to keep definition.
For example, when playing a syncopated riff, the bass will stand out while allowing the other instruments to shine.
The swamp ash body and Seymour Duncan pickups create a dynamic mix.
At low or high volume, the impact remains regular and punchy. The electronics adjustment guarantees flexibility according to the needs of each song.
