Martin Audio - VIA2004 Ampli 4 x 250W / 8 ohms

The Martin Audio VIA2004 amplifier is a 4-channel Class D amplifier designed to efficiently power broadcast systems for both installation and performance. With 4 x 250 W at 8 ohms (and 4 x 500 W at 4 ohms), it can drive several loudspeakers on a single unit, simplifying wiring and rack organisation.

Its 2U format and 8 kg weight make it easy to fit into a mobile or fixed rack. You can easily install it in a flight case or a technical bay without weighing down your configuration. Variable-speed fan cooling with front-to-back flow maintains a stable temperature, even during prolonged use.

The auto-sensing switched-mode power supply accepts a wide range of voltages (100 to 240 V), enabling it to be used in a variety of contexts without any special adaptation. This is particularly useful for mobile or touring applications.

The audio inputs and outputs are based on XLR connectors for the signal and Speakon NL4 for the speaker outputs. You can chain signals via the link outputs, simplifying audio distribution in multi-amplified systems.

The VIA2004 features comprehensive protections that constantly monitor the amp's operation. This includes management of overloads, high temperatures and signal anomalies, to protect the speakers and maintain stable performance up to 40°C.

Front-panel LED indicators provide a quick view of signal level, clipping and protection status. This gives you direct control over the behaviour of each channel during operation.

This amplifier works efficiently with processors such as the DX0.4, DX0.6 or DX4.0, allowing you to optimise sound reproduction thanks to presets and DSP processing. This combination makes it easy to set up coherent systems, particularly with series of installation loudspeakers.

Thanks to its high efficiency (up to 89%), it consumes less energy while retaining a good reserve of power. This limits heating and improves overall system reliability.
