Martinez - Torres Palissandre 3/4 RN + Housse

MARTINEZ builds its Torres Rosewood 3/4 RN around a combination of woods that reshapes the tonal character more than one might expect from such a small body. The solid cedar top delivers a rounded low end, whilst the rosewood back and sides add brilliance to the treble where the mahogany remains more subdued. The result is reminiscent of the tone of a significantly larger instrument.

The 3/4 size retains the proportions of a full-size classical guitar, scaled down for hands that are still small. The 615 mm scale length brings the frets closer together, whilst the 50 mm nut width ensures a string spacing that remains manageable for a child or teenager just learning to play. It comes in its own case, ready to accompany the student from the living room to their first group lesson.

Its natural finish highlights the grain of the rosewood rather than hiding it under a thick coat of varnish. It is ideal for learning arpeggios, practising exercises and playing accompaniment, with a strictly classical repertoire. Produced in the Chinese workshops of the Torres MARTINEZ series, it comes with its own case, adding nothing to the budget for a first classical instrument.
