The Extreme shares the same basic circuit architecture as the OD808. However, several key component values have been modified to achieve what could be the ultimate overdrive. It offers a wider frequency response than the original OD808, with an extended high-frequency tonal range that gives extra clarity to your sound without becoming harsh. It also features a harsher clipping pattern than the standard model, creating a burning, full-bodied drive sound that helps chords sound and notes sing.
