The OOD-9 takes the OSD-9 circuit and replaces the NOS 741 operational amplifiers with modern production NJM (JRC) 4558s. Featuring the same warm, open overdrive as the OSD-9 but with a more pronounced high-frequency response, the OOD-9 is perfect for brightening up a dark-sounding guitar or amp. It reacts smoothly to changes in input level, offering a highly interactive response to the musician's dynamics. Perfect as a stand-alone overdrive or to push an amp, it can also be added to other overdrives to add clarity and character to their sound.
