The ACT-80HC from MIPRO is a digital HF handheld transmitter microphone designed to combine performance and versatility. Built in a robust magnesium case with an ergonomic design, it combines lightness and solidity. Its elegant champagne finish, also available in customised options, highlights a tool suited to stage environments and professional performances.

The ACT-80HC is distinguished by its interchangeable capsule system. It can accommodate several modules, such as the MU-59 supercardioid dynamic capsule or the MU-80 and MU-90 capacitors. This means you can adapt the sound reproduction to suit the voice, the context or the user's preferences. The multi-layer metal grille effectively protects the capsule from shocks, plosives and handling noise, while the patented suspension minimises unwanted vibrations.

Its electronics are based on wideband digital modulation with inertial coding DSP processing, offering high dynamics, low distortion and clarity akin to a wired microphone. With a bandwidth of 64 MHz (in the UHF 480-934 MHz range, depending on the country), it offers considerable flexibility in frequency management. ACT synchronisation simplifies pairing with the receiver, and 256-bit encryption protects transmissions against interception.

The ACT-80HC offers three gain levels (+6, +3 or 0 dB) and three mute modes: manual, disabled or automatic (the microphone mutes when it is pointed towards the ground). The backlit LCD screen provides all the essential information, while the base incorporates the antenna, power switch and configuration buttons. The bottom cover, with interchangeable coloured clips, allows quick channel identification and can be inverted to hide the controls during a performance.

Powered by an ICR-18500 rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the microphone provides up to 13 hours of autonomy. Weighing in at just 282 g for a length of 250 mm, it remains well balanced in the hand, making it comfortable to use for both spoken and sung vocals.
