Presentation
Set-up can be simplified using the EW-D Smart Assist app, which connects via Bluetooth Low Energy and allows the system to be managed remotely. Automatic frequency scanning helps to establish a connection. The handheld microphone also features a built-in mute switch, which is handy for muting the sound.
The kit includes the EW-D EM receiver, the EW-D SKM-S transmitter, the MMD 835 capsule, a microphone clip, two antennas, a power supply with mains adaptors, as well as a rack-mount kit and the accessories specified by the manufacturer.
The power supply operates on the two AA batteries supplied, offering a claimed battery life of up to eight hours, or with a lithium-ion battery pack (sold separately), providing up to twelve hours. Check the Y1-3 band and the authorised frequencies in your region before use.
