Sennheiser - EW-D ME4 SET (S4-7)
With the Sennheiser EW-D ME4 SET (S4-7) digital wireless system, speakers benefit from simplified set-up and convenient control via the Smart Assist app. Its ME 4 cardioid lavalier microphone ensures excellent speech intelligibility, whilst the automatic scanning functions make connection easy. Operating in the 630 to 662 MHz frequency range, it is ideal for presentations and public speaking.
Presentation
Digital transmission in the UHF spectrum ensures a reliable audio link, whilst the EW-D Smart Assist app enables remote pairing and management of the system via Bluetooth Low Energy. This approach makes it easy to adjust settings and monitor the system directly from a compatible device.
The Auto Scan function helps to quickly establish a connection with minimal user intervention. The 134 dB dynamic range preserves signal detail without requiring sensitivity adjustments, according to the manufacturer. The low latency of 1.9 ms also contributes to immediate audio reproduction during speech.
The system offers 2,240 selectable frequencies and a bandwidth of 56 MHz. Its metal-cased pocket transmitter is designed for regular use. Power can be supplied by the two AA batteries provided or by an optional lithium-ion battery offering up to 12 hours’ operation, according to Sennheiser.
