Mipro - TA-80

MIPRO's TA-80 is a plug-on HF transmitter designed to offer a simple, effective alternative to traditional microphone cables. By connecting directly via its XLR input, it frees any wired microphone from its constraints, while retaining the precision and transparency of its reproduction. Its 72 MHz bandwidth in UHF (480 - 960 MHz depending on the region) gives it great flexibility of use, with a stable, clean signal.

Its aluminium alloy design provides both strength and insulation against parasitic interference. The transmission antenna is integrated to reduce clutter, and the green backlit LCD display provides all the information you need at a glance: gain level, frequency, battery status and phantom power. The TA-80 also features a 9-level gain control ranging from -18 to +30 dB, so you can adapt the signal to suit the microphone connected.

Designed to accommodate both dynamic and static microphones, it has a switchable phantom power supply at 12 or 48 V (up to 10 mA), offering compatibility with a wide range of microphones. On the power side, the TA-80 is equipped with an 18500 lithium-ion battery offering around 8 hours of autonomy, with simple recharging via the MP-8T station or directly by replacing the cell.

In practice, the TA-80 offers a wide, linear frequency response, ultra-low harmonic distortion, reduced background noise and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio. As a result, the microphone retains its natural character and detail, without the limitations of a conventional analogue link. It's a tool that integrates naturally into environments where freedom of movement and sonic fidelity must coexist.
