The Express XT also supports the MIDI Machine Control (MMC) format, with the option of being either a "master" or a "slave" in MMC. In addition, it can distribute MMC transport commands to all devices connected to it.
You can easily connect a switch pedal to the front of the interface and program it to generate MIDI events. The data will be transmitted to any connected device. You can, for example, send MIDI patch changes to your synthesizers or sound modules in concert.
MIDI Express XT makes full use of the USB connection to transfer MIDI data quickly and securely - with sub-millisecond accuracy - and supports hot-plugging and plug-and-play operations. Need more MIDI inputs/outputs? No problem! Simply add another MIDI Express XT to a free USB port.
As with most MOTU™ MIDI and audio interfaces, MIDI Express XT features a mains power supply with automatic 115/220V voltage selection.
No other MIDI interface offers such professionalism and performance at such an affordable price!
