As synchronizer SMPTE timecode professional, the Express XT converts and calibrates the SMPTE in all formats: 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97 "drop and non-drop" and SMPTE option 30. "Jam Sync "Freewheeling mode also allows for a more stable synchronization to avoid stalls.
Express XT also supports MIDI Machine Control Format (MMC) with the possibility of being both "master" or "slave" in MMC. It can, moreover, distribute MMC transport commands to all devices connected to it.
