Novastar - TU15 Pro

An LED screen can, on its own, serve as a platform for presenting, broadcasting and sharing content when the control system directly integrates these various functions. The NovaStar TU15 Pro is designed with this in mind, featuring an all-in-one architecture that combines an LED processor, media player, scaling and mirroring functions.

The device runs on Android 11 and has 4 GB of RAM as well as 32 GB of internal storage. This environment allows third-party applications to be used and enables direct access to the resources available on the system. Multimedia playback is also possible from a USB stick, with support for HEVC, H.265, H.264 and 4K content. The TU15 Pro can therefore operate independently to play recorded content, without always needing to rely on an external computer.

Screen mirroring provides another way to feed content to the display. Windows, macOS, iOS and Android can be used as sources to transmit their content to the LED screen, particularly for presentations, document sharing or video playback. The system supports streams up to Full HD at 60 frames per second and offers several wireless connection options. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built-in to facilitate communication with various devices.

As for the LED display, the four Gigabit RJ45 outputs enable the TU15 Pro to drive up to 2.6 million pixels, with a maximum width of 4,096 pixels and a height of up to 1,920 pixels. The built-in scaling function allows the signal to be adapted to the screen’s configuration directly from the processor. An HDMI 1.3 output, an analogue audio output and an S/PDIF output complete the output options.

Control can be carried out via Ethernet, Wi-Fi, infrared or RS-232. A dedicated input for the light sensor also enables the integration of automatic screen lighting management. NovaLCT and VNNOX further enhance the configuration and content management capabilities.
