Electric Guitar Effects
Getting incredible Tremolo sounds right out of the box is simple. The Speed, Gain and Depth controls set the speed, volume and intensity of the selected tremolo effect, and cycling through the six styles is as simple as pressing the Gain button. For advanced sound technicians, a host of features await, from stereo operation to tap tempo and expression pedal to envelope tremolo, which makes the effect's response sensitive to your attack.

Presentation
This return of the tremolo effect to the MXR line combines a full historic range of master-tuned tremolo styles with a host of features to satisfy the performance needs of today's demanding players.
The M305's six tremolo waveforms represent classic and iconic sources of the effect as well as new sounds concocted by the MXR design team:
- Firstly, the MXR style recreates the organic sound and pulse of the much-loved M159 MXR stereo tremolo.
- Secondly, the Bias style is inspired by the lush, powerful compression of the tremolo effects found in tube amplifiers from the early 1960s.
- The Revo style, an original innovation, flips the optical tremolo waveform for more exaggerated peaks and valleys.
- The Opto style emulates the gently pulsating tremolo generated by photocells in many popular amplifiers.
- Inspired by an iconic outboard effect, the SQR setting produces a jerky, super pronounced tremolo.
- Finally, the Harm style recreates the trippy, phase-like tremolo produced by some rare vintage amplifiers.
These features and more are delivered in a single MXR box so you can put a wide variety of intriguing, well-designed tremolo waveforms on your board without overcrowding.
