The Komplete Kontrol S61 MK3 from Native Instruments offers a remarkable tactile experience, thanks to its semi-weighted keyboard designed by Fatar and its integrated polyphonic aftertouch. This seemingly insignificant technical detail literally changes the way you play: a subtle touch is all it takes to trigger a vibrato or filter variation, without lifting a finger from the modulation. Its intelligent Light Guide illuminates your playing zones, scales and keyswitches, reminding you that a keyboard can also speak to you in colour. In short, you can play in style, and your keyboard will do you proud.
The high-resolution 1,280 x 480 colour screen isn't there for show, although we love it for that too. It lets you navigate, adjust your instruments and mix without taking your eyes off the keyboard. With eight encoders, a 4D wheel, and well thought-out touch controls, the S61 MK3 reconciles those who like turning knobs and those who prefer typing keys.
The redesigned NKS technology gives you access to thousands of perfectly integrated instruments and effects. The S61 MK3 opens the doors to all the major plug-in editors (Arturia, Heavyocity, Spitfire, U-He and others). Presets are mapped directly to the keyboard, settings are made by feel, and you almost forget you're in a DAW. Yes, even if your computer sometimes scares you.
