Native Instruments - Massive XL Crossgrade for Massive (licence)

In Massive XL, Native Instruments takes electronic sound design to the next level with new tools designed to help you quickly explore your own musical territory. This update also maintains compatibility with presets and Expansions already created in Massive.

New preset-generation features allow you to start with an audio reference to create a playable patch, with built-in stem separation. The Mutator and randomisation open up further creative possibilities, whilst giving you control over which elements are retained or modified.

To sculpt even more distinctive sounds, Native Instruments has added over 100 new wavetables and over 100 noisetables to Massive XL, as well as the ability to import your own samples. The built-in synth effects, including Raum, Replika Shimmer and Tape Wobble, expand the processing possibilities without leaving the synth.

The modulation system is now easier to navigate thanks to animated modulators, drag-and-drop adjustable envelopes and tooltip information. Performers and Trackers allow you to modulate sounds based on notes or velocity, for expressive sonic variations.

Native Instruments Massive users will find their presets and Expansions in this new version, without having to start from scratch. Customisable banks, search by favourites and tags, and a comprehensive edit history make it easy to organise sounds by project or genre. Contextual explanations help you understand the parameters directly within the interface, whilst support for polyphonic aftertouch provides expressive note-by-note control with compatible hardware.
