Designed as a creative space, UVI’s Quadra Modular virtual instrument (downloadable licence) brings together 30 modular systems recorded as acoustic instruments, complete with velocity layers and round-robins.

Its four layers allow you to combine different sound sources and build sequences that evolve as you play. Each layer features a 64-step sequencer, an arpeggiator and MIDI effects to enrich patterns, create grooves, add harmonies or quantise notes within a scale.

The XY pad allows you to morph sounds between multiple sources, whilst audio effects, reverb and delay round off the soundscapes. The bank contains 677 presets and offers combinations tailored to different musical styles. MIDI export to the DAW then makes it easy to incorporate the created sequences into your project. Quadra Modular thus offers a workflow geared towards composition and creative sound exploration.
