Nicknamed "The Voice of Rock", Glenn Hughes is an English musician, famous for his work as a bassist and singer, and for his early days in the funk rock band Trapeze. He gained worldwide fame as bassist and co-lead singer of Deep Purple in the mid-70s, bringing a funk and soul influence that redefined the band's sound. After his stint in that band, he went on to enjoy a prolific solo career, collaborating with rock legends such as the supergroup Black Country Communion and cementing his status as an icon of the genre.
