Here, Ashdown combines the signature style of the Saint series with a modern design centred on a poplar body, a flamed maple top and a roasted maple neck and fingerboard.
The PJ configuration features two Alnico V pickups, with hand-wired circuitry and CTS-style potentiometers. The vintage-style bridge is fitted with copper saddles. The 34-inch scale length and 20 stainless steel frets round off this instrument.
The Aegean Flame model adds a glossy blue finish to the distinctive grain of the flamed maple.
