Patina - PS-3 SGR Sherwood Green

The Patina PS-3 SGR guitar boasts an elegant aesthetic and a design tailored to musicians who play regularly. Its Sherwood Green finish adds a touch of character. The three hand-wound Alnico V single-coil pickups deliver bright, precise and nuanced tones. Clean tones remain well-defined, whilst more overdriven tones retain their attack and clarity.

The paulownia body ensures a lightweight guitar that remains comfortable to play during long sessions. Its nitrocellulose finish ages naturally over time and reflects the history of each instrument. The quarter-sawn, roasted maple neck features a satin finish that promotes smooth playability. The Modern C profile, combined with the rosewood fingerboard with a 13.75" radius, provides a balanced playing feel for both chords and solos.

The 22 stainless steel jumbo frets are designed to withstand years of playing. The vibrato system features locking tuners with a 1:19 ratio and a bone saddle to maintain stable tuning. The luminescent side markers remain clearly visible when the stage goes dark. Sound control is via a volume control and two tone controls, a simple and effective setup.

The Patina PS-3 SGR comes fitted as standard with D’Addario EXL110 strings in .010-.046 gauge. Its build prioritises reliable and durable components, without adding any unnecessary extras. It is equally suited to rehearsals, recordings and live performances.
