Radial - BackTrack Splitter stéréo

Radial’s BackTrack is a stereo audio track switcher designed for live musicians and engineers who rely on backup tracks. This device provides essential redundancy for live performances, allowing instant switching between two playback sources in the event of a primary player failure.

It features TRS jack connectors and mini jack (3.5 mm) inputs, making it easy to connect a variety of devices such as laptops, smartphones or tablets.

In terms of connectivity, the BackTrack features XLR main outputs for direct connection to the PA system. These outputs are transformer isolated to prevent ground loops, reducing unwanted noise such as hum.

For on-stage monitoring, the unit also features TRS jack monitoring outputs, allowing artists and technicians to check audio quality in real time.

The BackTrack also offers headphone monitoring with a built-in amplifier and dedicated level control. This feature allows you to check the synchronization and volume of the two playback sources without affecting the PA system output.

A Cue Select switch allows you to choose which source (A or B) to listen to in your headphones, ensuring that the transition to the backup track is smooth and uninterrupted for the audience.

In addition to the source selection button (A or B) on the front panel, the BackTrack can be controlled remotely by an optional JR-2 footswitch. This footswitch allows you to switch between audio tracks and mute the system discreetly, which is particularly useful for stage situations requiring rapid control.

Multiple BackTracks can be chained together via a link output, allowing you to manage more complex audio setups with full redundancy for shows involving multiple audio tracks.

Built in a rugged steel chassis, the BackTrack is designed to withstand the rigors of the stage while ensuring optimum stability and sound quality. Powered by a 15V DC socket, it is ready to use immediately upon connection, without the need for a power switch.
