The 1/2-inch cardioid condenser capsule is coated with a thin layer of gold and produces a balanced, smooth sound with extremely low operating noise.
With its exceptionally accurate cardioid polar pattern and wide frequency response, the NT5 is ideal for recording a variety of acoustic instruments, from drum overheads and cymbals to live performances and real-life dialogue.
For even greater versatility, the NT5 is compatible with an interchangeable omnidirectional capsule (NT45-O), available separately.
