The Schecter Stargazer-4 Gloss Black is a 4-string electric bass with a mahogany body, renowned for delivering a warm, full sound with excellent sustain. It's fitted with a set of Schecter USA pickups (a J-25 on the neck and an M-25 on the bridge), allowing a wide range of sounds from jazz/motown grooves to more aggressive rock, thanks to its versatile mini-switches (series/split/parallel and coil tap).

Imagine yourself in a hushed studio, Schecter's Stargazer-4 Gloss Black bass resting on a stand. You pull out the bass, and the mahogany body reveals a deep hue under your fingers. The rigid, three-piece maple neck is screwed together to provide firm support for the sound. The 16" radius maple fingerboard fades away as you play, and the slim "C" profile takes you naturally towards the most subtle harmonics.
On attack, the Schecter USA M-25 (bridge) and J-25 (neck) pickups capture every nuance. The overall volume lets you control your presence, while the blend allows a fluid balance between the two pickups. The tone, combined with the mini-switches (series/split/parallel for the bridge pickup, coil-tap for the neck pickup), opens up new possibilities for expressiveness often reserved for top-of-the-range configurations.
On stage, the custom Diamond bridge and TonePros 'M Series' tuners guarantee uncompromising stability despite the tension of the Ernie Ball Super Long .045-.105 strings.
