The sE Electronics V-PACK ARENA brings together the essentials for capturing a drum kit in a structured way, without having to put together a set of microphones yourself. Each element of the pack is designed for a precise function, so you can quickly achieve a coherent balance between the different sources in the kit.

The bass drum is handled by the V KICK, a dynamic microphone capable of adapting its response thanks to several selectable voicings. This makes it possible to adjust to the context, whether you want a more modern, punchy sound or a more natural approach. This flexibility is useful both live and in the studio, where expectations can vary according to style.

The toms are supported by three V BEATs combined with V CLAMPs. This direct drum-mounting system simplifies installation and reduces the space required around the kit. The compact size of the pick-up means it can be positioned precisely, while retaining a clear, dynamic sound similar to that of the V7 X, from which it takes its architecture.

For snare drums, the V7 X provides a good balance between attack and depth. It captures the nuances of playing while remaining legible in a dense mix, making it a versatile choice for different styles.

Overheads are handled by a pair of sE8s, small-diaphragm condenser microphones renowned for their low noise and precision. They reproduce the overall image of the kit with a good level of detail, maintaining coherence between cymbals and percussive elements.

The kit comes with the V CASE flight case, designed for transporting and protecting the equipment. The pack provides a complete solution that can be used straight away, with a coherent recording logic for both live and studio configurations.
