SE Electronics - V7

The sE Electronics V7 is designed for live vocal recording, but can also be used in the studio for certain applications. Its supercardioid directional characteristic concentrates the pick-up on the main source while limiting the pick-up of surrounding elements, making it easy to use on stage.

The dynamic capsule combined with an aluminium coil reproduces vocals with good definition in the midrange and controlled presence in the high frequencies. This behaviour helps to maintain intelligibility, particularly in contexts where several sources are present.

The V7 incorporates an internal capsule suspension system, which limits the transmission of mechanical noise associated with handling or the microphone stand. This helps to maintain a cleaner signal when moving around or making adjustments during use.

An internal windscreen is also integrated to reduce plosives and breath noise. A second windscreen is supplied to adapt the response or replace the original one as required.

The microphone can be used for vocals, but also for certain instrumental sources such as guitar amps, percussion or brass instruments. The design is simple to use, with standard XLR connectors and no need for a power supply.
