Presentation
The Seagull Maritime SWS CW GT Presys II is made entirely of solid wood for a richer, more open resonance. The solid spruce top adds precision and projection, while the solid mahogany back and sides add warmth and midrange presence.
The dreadnought format retains a good fullness of sound for accompanying vocals or strumming. The cutaway makes access to the last frets more natural, which helps with melodic passages or parts played higher up the neck.
The Richlite® fingerboard provides a consistent feel and a clean attack under the fingers. The ebony bridge also contributes to the definition of the sound and the overall stability of the instrument. The high-gloss finish of the top brings out the nuances of the wood and the slight shading effect visible on the body and headstock.
The Fishman Presys II system includes a built-in tuner as well as volume, bass and treble controls. The electronics allow the sound to be adapted quickly to suit the stage, acoustic amp or recording interface. Finally, the 43.7 mm saddle provides a comfortable playing feel for chords, fingerstyle or more sustained rhythms.
