Sennheiser - EW-DX EM 2 (R1-9)
Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 R1-9, 2-channel fixed digital receiver in half-rack format (9.5″) for Evolution Wireless Digital systems. Operating in the 520 - 607.8 MHz band, it offers up to 88 MHz of bandwidth, AES 256 encryption and a system latency of 1.9 ms. IEEE 802.3af PoE compatible, it integrates easily into professional AV environments.
Presentation
The system offers a switching bandwidth of up to 88 MHz, with 146 equidistant channels in standard mode and up to 293 in Link Density mode, enabling optimised management of multi-channel deployments.
Transmission uses AES 256 encryption to ensure secure communications, while system latency is maintained at 1.9 ms. Audio frequency response extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB) with a dynamic range of 134 dB.
The receiver incorporates Ethernet connectivity (IPv4/IPv6) for network control via the Sennheiser Control Cockpit and can be powered via PoE IEEE 802.3af Class 0 or an external 11-13 V DC power supply.
