The Seymour Duncan Sentient 8 is an electric guitar pickup designed specifically for 8-string guitars.
Featuring a humbucker coil and an Alnico V magnet, it offers high output with a resistance of 10.10 kΩ. Its design is intended to complement the Nazgûl and Pegasus bridge pickups. It thus provides balanced and varied music.
The Sentient excels in reproducing articulate tones. As a result, it is perfect for complex chords and fluid melodic phrases under high saturation.
With a vintage sound, it has a dynamic response and a wide harmonic range, ideal for low tunings.
Handcrafted in the workshop in Santa Barbara, California, this pickup is available in an open coil version or with a black metal cover.
Thanks to its passive mounting, it integrates easily into any guitar equipped with classic humbuckers. For a harmonious metal tone, combine it with the Nazgûl or Pegasus pickups.
