The Seymour Duncan Vintage Jazz Bass Set Neck/Bridge Black pickups perfectly reproduce the tones of the original models from the '60s. The bridge pickup delivers a bright tone. The neck pickup adds rich low end without excessive heaviness. Hand-built since 1978, these pickups use alnico 5 magnets and waxed cotton connection wire. Their combination cancels out unwanted noise and ensures perfect aural harmony.

The Seymour Duncan Vintage Jazz Bass is a two-pickup set designed for 4-string basses. It provides a vintage tone reminiscent of the original Jazz Bass pickups of the 1960s.
With a black color and Alnico V magnets, this set produces a balanced acoustic, with a well-defined midrange response.
The neck pickup delivers a full and generous tone, with deep and well-controlled lows. Thanks to its Reverse Wound/Reverse Polarity (RWRP) winding, it eliminates interference when coupled with the bridge pickup. The latter provides a smooth and punchy tone.
Since 1978, these devices have been hand-built. This ensures impeccable quality. Each element respects the specifications of the time: Forbon for flatwork, Alnico 5 magnets. Everything is handled with care to preserve vintage authenticity. With fabric threads and hand finishing, the flatwork assembly and varnishing are reminiscent of traditional Fender methods.
