The flagship model of the range Shure SRH, the open SRH1840 integrates professional headphones paired drivers to provide uncompromised audio performance with accurate bass and extended high frequency response. Thanks to its open design, SRH1840 has a stereo openness and depth of the soundstage and exceptional natural sound and great softness. Designed with premium materials and precision engineering, this headset offers both comfort and durability ensures long hours of mixing or simply plays HiFi.Il has a kevlar cable detachable dual output allowing its replacement and facilitating easy storage. It comes with a hard carrying case, two detachable Kevlar reinforced cables and dual output MMCX connectors (2.1 m right), a pair of replacement ear pads and velvet jack 3.5mm gold plated adapter / 6 35mm.

The Shure SRH-1840 headphones are a Hi-Fi model of the highest quality, usable in studio. Its open design provides an exceptional listening ventilation no closed helmet can offer. The Shure SRH-1840 was designed for a sedentary use, connected to a quality source such as a headphone amp. Attention used with a music player, the sound level produced would be insufficient because of its high impedance. A powerful source is required. Its 40mm drivers are driven by a neodymium magnet, a guarantee of sharp and precise listening. Their passband extends from 10 Hz to 30 kHz, with a linear response curve. Listening is superbly well balanced, thanks also to a very good modulation detachable cable. The Shure SRH-1840 is a very comfortable headphone for listening to high-quality sources (CD / SACD) or to perform long hours for audio edits.
