  • Reduced Gain Display, as well as the SSL 4000G console (on the central part),
  • Calibration from 0dB to 20dB (4dB intervals).
  • Setting the attack time via 6 positions: 0.1, 0.3, 1, 3, 10 and 30 ms
  • Setting the ratio between level and gain of the signal via 3 positions: 2: 1, 4: 1 and 10: 1
  • Make-Up: The reduction of the signal level due to the action of the compressor is compensated by the catch-up gain, continuously variable from -5dB to + 15dB.
  • Auto Fade that allows you to set an automatic fade time of your mix. When the key is released, the Fade automatically returns to the given value.
  • Threshold: setting the point at which the compressor is acting. Continuously variable from -15dB to + 15dB
  • Release: Set release time, switchable between 0.1, 0.3, 0.6, and 1.2 Secs, or in auto.
  • If Auto is selected, the hold time is dependent on the signal peak duration.
  • IN: The Compressor IN switch puts the compressor into action.
  • External Side-Chain: Enables the 'key input' input on the back of the compressor for an external sidechain source.
  • Rate Setting the duration of Auto Fade, variable from 1 to 60 Secs.
  • At the rear of the compressor, the 9-Way D-type connector is used to connect an external display and to have remote control of the Auto-Fade function.
