Steinberg - UR22C

The Steinberg UR22C 2x2 USB Gen 3.1 audio interface is designed to give you pristine sound recording on the go. Use its 32-bit converters for wide dynamic range, and record at sample rates up to 192 kHz to capture detailed sonic nuances.

The audio interface offers two XLR/Jack combo inputs, one of which can accept high-impedance (Hi-Z) instruments, allowing you to record your bass and guitars directly, with extremely fine degrees of resolution.

Connect your monitoring speakers (available separately) via two 6.35mm TRS sockets on the rear of the unit, or use the 6.35mm headphone output on the front panel for private monitoring.

While recording, use the Mix button on the UR22C to make sure you hear your sound without latency. Connect your favourite MIDI devices via the 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O sockets.

The Steinberg UR22C MIDI audio interface can communicate via a USB GEN 3.1 connection for seamless integration with Mac and Windows computers. The port is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0. Even iOS devices running iOS 10 or later are supported, so you can record directly to your iPad.

If streaming DJ sets, classes or twitch streams in high resolution appeals to you, you'll be delighted with the Loopback feature. This feature merges your recording channels with your DAW's audio playback, so you can stream everything at once.

Numerous effects are included with the Steinberg UR22 C sound card, such as REV-X reverb and guitar amp emulations. For home recording and production, Cubasis LE and Cubase AI are included, as well as a zero-latency monitoring matrix called dspMixFx. The interface is USB-powered, but you can use a 5V adapter (sold separately).
