Supro - Royale 1x12 Extension Cab

Two 5881 power tubes, 50 watts, a single 12-inch Supro BD12 speaker — the Supro Royale 1x12 concentrates its sound output into a combo format where the sound pressure builds vertically, without being diluted by a second transducer. The BD12, tuned to match this specific circuit, reproduces harmonics with a mid-range roundness characteristic of valve circuits that are well-matched to their speaker.
The preamp stage utilises three 12AX7s, one 12AT7 and one 12DW7 — five valves whose gain hierarchy determines the tonal character even before the Treble, Mid and Bass controls come into play. The Boost injects extra saturation on demand; the reverb, controlled by Reverb Level and Reverb Dwell, modulates the spatial character independently; the effects loop opens the signal up to any external processing without altering the main signal path. The three TS footswitch sockets — with footswitches sold separately — allow these three functions to be controlled remotely from the stage.
The poplar cabinet absorbs mechanical vibrations without increasing the weight of the unit beyond 22.2 kg, with dimensions of 520 × 476 × 241.3 mm. The Black Scandia finish with cream piping and the Hemp grille with gold-coloured wire reflect the vintage aesthetic championed by Supro. The multiple speaker outputs — 16, 2 × 8 and 2 × 4 ohms — allow a extension speaker cabinet to be connected without the need to reconfigure the impedance.
