With the TAS 1500 MC, Thorens wanted to create a product that would combine perfectly with the TD 1500 and TD 403 DD turntables, as well as the TP 150 precision tone arm. Its output voltage of 0.4 millivolts (5.5 cm/s) and internal resistance of 12 omhs make it compatible with current phono preamplifiers.
