UDO Audio - Super 6 Keyboard White SE

Introduced for the first time at Superbooth 2023, the Super 6 White Special Edition is a 12-voice polyphonic binaural analogue-hybrid synthesiser. It offers a harmonious marriage between state-of-the-art FPGA digital oscillators and voltage-controlled analogue technology. It's flexible, powerful and refined, with superb analogue timbre. Rich, evolving textures can be easily achieved from its unique super-wavetable core, and can be shaped and manipulated thanks to the binaural analogue signal path and flexible modulation.

In binaural mode, the Super 6 offers a true stereo signal path in which the twelve voices of the instrument are combined to form six 'super' stereo voices. In this way, the left and right channels, as well as each of the musician's ears, are assigned their own complete synthesizer voice. The parameters of the two channels of each super voice can be controlled independently, allowing the musician to create rich and unique stereo images. The effect varies from subtle to extreme stereo movement, creating an enhanced sense of spatial positioning compared to 'conventional' panning monophonic signal chains at their output.

The Super 6 has also been designed to provide access to a maximum number of modulations without the need for menus. The result is enormous flexibility at the musician's fingertips, thanks to simple controls and a carefully designed front panel. To take things a step further, an intuitive and immediate modulation system is based on the switches in the performance area. For those who want to go even further, each control on the panel can be targeted for modulation, all simultaneously and with unique intensities.

In addition to an analogue amplification section, the Super 6 is equipped with a 4-pole, 24dB-per-octave low-pass resonant analogue main filter. This is preceded by a voltage-controlled high-pass filter that can be switched off, fixed, or can also follow the cut-off of the low-pass filter for bandpass operation.

The UDO Audio Super 6 is an instrument that is appreciated not only for the sound it produces, but also for the way it feels to play.
