Union Audio - four.valve

The Union Audio four.valve is aimed at users looking for a resolutely analogue approach to mixing, with a sound signature marked by the use of tubes. Its architecture is designed to deliver a warm, smooth sound reproduction, while maintaining a level of precision suited to professional environments.

Each channel can receive phono or line sources, so you can work with both turntables and digital players. The deliberately uncluttered layout is based on flexible rotary faders and an Innofader crossfader, making it easy to work smoothly and naturally.

The tube stage adds subtle colouration, particularly in the peaks where harmonic saturation helps to soften the rendering without masking detail. Added to this is an entirely analogue signal path, selected to limit noise and maximise transparency. Union Audio's engineers have also taken great care to ensure high reliability thanks to a robust chassis and an efficient external power supply.

The Master section incorporates a 3-band isolator with carefully selected frequencies, allowing for clean cuts or lighter transitions as required. The high-pass filter per channel completes the package by providing additional control, particularly useful in contexts where bass management is essential.
