Yamaha - SA2200 Violin Sunburst
Yamaha's SA2200 electric guitar features an elegantly sculpted semi-hollow maple body and Violin Sunburst finish, providing both sophisticated visual presence and excellent sound projection. It's equipped with two high-end humbucking shoulder pickups, producing a warm, richly nuanced sound that's ideal for jazz, blues or vintage rock tones. Finished to the highest standards with an ebony fingerboard and robust gold-plated tuners, it offers excellent playability, generous sustain and perfect stability in concert or in the studio.
Presentation
On the pickup side, there are two Yamaha humbuckers with Alnico V magnets, splittable via the tone controls. This system makes it easy to switch from full sounds to finer textures, akin to simple windings. The three-position selector, volume and tone controls offer precise control over the whole.
The Gotoh GE103B bridge and GE101Z tailpiece ensure good tuning, reinforced by Gotoh SG30 tuning machines. The whole instrument comes with a hard case, making it ready to follow the musician in a variety of contexts, from hushed jazz to more dynamic registers.
