The Amaretto Burst is not just a warm colour gradient applied to the flamed maple: the top, sides and back are all made from the same wood, unifying the semi-hollow body into a single voice that is clearer and more incisive than its cousins with different veneer backs. The central block dampens feedback without stifling the wood’s natural harmonics, whilst the high-gloss finish reveals every grain in the light.
The three-piece neck, glued and shaped to a C-profile, widens gently from 20 mm at the first fret to 22 mm at the twelfth, guiding the hand without constraining it. The ebony fingerboard, engraved with split-block mother-of-pearl inlays, allows the fingers to glide freely over the 22 silver-nickel Jescar frets, whose 406.4 mm radius follows the natural curve of the wrist. A 42.86 mm Tusq nut precedes Grover 509 locking tuners, which put a stop to tuning drifts even after a poorly fitted capo.
Two Seymour Duncan USA pickups define its electric character: the DA-59 at the neck delivers a mellow, rounded tone, whilst the SH-4 at the bridge bites with controlled aggression; both can be switched to single-coil mode via the push/pull tone controls. A Tune-O-Matic bridge and a gold-plated stopbar tailpiece round off the package, which comes in a gig bag for blues-rock or fusion guitarists seeking a more incisive tone than the Vintage Natural.
