-
Output channels are managed by 32 channel faders (assignable in layers) and 1 master fader.
-
The console will have 8 DCA groups.
-
All the faders are motorised and have a travel of 100mm. The console is equipped with a 7" colour LCD touch screen.
-
The console has a slot for a Dante expansion card (primary/secondary on Ethercon) to connect to the optional Tio10608-D racks.
-
Each input channel has the following functions: gain, phantom power activation, polarity inversion, compressor, noise gate, 4-band parametric EQ + high-pass filter, sends, direct output.
-
Each output channel has the following functions: 4-band parametric EQ, compressor, graphic EQ.
-
The console is equipped with a monitoring circuit and a stereo headphone jack output.
-
The console is equipped with static automation (with 2 libraries of 100 scenes, saved on USB key) and can be controlled by online/offline editing software, hosted by a computer connected via its Ethernet port, or by a wireless tablet.

TouchFlow Operation, developed by Yamaha, uses a touchscreen to configure and control the various channels, manage presets and scenes, apply effects, etc. via MultiTouch. These controls will also be available remotely via an app for iPhone and iPad. The screen is accompanied by a Touch & Turn pot that can be assigned to different controls (compressor threshold, EQ gain, effect send level, panning, etc.) and will work with the selected channel.
-
Tips:
-
Yamaha supplies QuickPro configuration presets with the console for easy live adjustment of instruments, microphones, speakers, in-ear monitoring, etc. Two banks of 100 scenes are also available.
-
TouchFlow consoles come with Cubase AI.
-
GainFinder: thanks to this function, the machine seeks out the optimum gain just before the signal enters the red. This ensures that you always have a solid input level to work with.
-
TouchFlow Operation: the console responds in the same way as a touch-sensitive tablet, facilitating basic operations and editing to optimise the recording or live soundcheck process.
-
Presets can be loaded on each channel, designed in conjunction with leading microphone brands (Shure, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, etc.) and sound engineers.

In developing the TF Series, Yamaha engineers built on the interfaces used on their high-end consoles, adding intuitive control optimised for use with touch panels - a tool now familiar in many applications. The innovative interface of the TF Series consoles allows most operations to be performed via the touch panel alone, and will quickly become second nature to many users. Whether you've worked on Yamaha digital consoles before, or only on other brands, or even analogue consoles, or never used a console at all, TFs will get you the results you want quickly and efficiently, with an efficient and easy workflow. The physical controls arranged around the touch panel provide even greater versatility and precision.
