Yamaha - TRB JP2 John Patitucci Amber
Yamaha's TRB JP2 Amber is a signature 6-string bass designed with John Patitucci. Made in Japan, it combines a maple, ash and alder body with a screw-down maple neck and ebony fingerboard for comfortable playing and great projection. The two custom Alnico V pickups combined with 3-band active electronics provide fine control throughout the frequency range. With its long fingerboard and 26 frets, it responds just as well in the low frequencies as it does in the highs. Its solid brass bridge and Gotoh tuning machines ensure stability and precision, both in the studio and on stage.
Presentation
The screw-down maple neck is topped by a 26-fret ebony fingerboard. With its 889 mm long tuning fork, it guarantees a precise response, particularly in the low frequencies. Two custom Alnico V pickups, combined with 3-band active electronics, balance control and global volume, sculpt an expressive, nuanced sound that's perfect for any context.
A solid brass bridge and Gotoh GB72 tuners ensure stability and sustain. Made in Japan and supplied in a hard case, the TRB JP2 is an instrument of choice, equally at home on stage or in the studio.
