The EWI USB was designed for musicians looking for a wind controller at an affordable price and to control any USB plug-in without having to go through an external MIDI interface.
In addition the hardware configuration is done via the software editor provided greatly simplifying its parameter setting and use. The Garritan software supplied with the Ewi provides you direct access to an extensive sound library (brass, woodwinds, percussion, synths etc.) and it allows to stack the sound to create overall effects (4 instruments can be played simultaneously).
