The Altamira N600 7/8 EN places itself in a very interesting zone for advanced classical guitarists: generous enough to develop real projection, but more compact than a traditional large-format guitar. It's a guitar that will appeal to musicians who want to retain comfort without reducing their musical ambitions.

Its 7/8 size gives a feeling of closeness to the instrument, while retaining an open sound. The solid cedar top provides a rapid response and plenty of depth in the nuances. Light attacks remain detailed, while more committed passages retain their density. Over time, this solid top also evolves and develops greater harmonic richness.

The Indian rosewood back and sides reinforce this sense of depth, with well-settled lows and highs that retain their definition. This character works particularly well for modern classical works, concert pieces or performances where the voices need to be well separated.

The 636 mm pitch and 52 mm nut maintain a true classical approach while remaining comfortable over long sessions. The ebony fingerboard adds precision, while the carbon-fibre-reinforced Spanish cedar neck helps to maintain stability over time.
