Classical Guitar 4/4
Discover the Altamira Torres, a classical guitar inspired by Antonio Torres' historic SE114 model and designed to recapture the character of the great traditional Spanish guitars. With its solid spruce top, slimmer 50 mm nut and clear, immediate sound, this guitar is a great gateway to the Spanish Romantic repertoire, classical music and finger-style playing. An accessible approach to exploring the colours and sensibilities of traditional Torres guitars.

Presentation
The Altamira Torres recaptures the spirit of the instruments developed by Antonio de Torres in the XIXᵉ century, considered one of the craftsmen who shaped the foundations of the modern classical guitar. This entry-level model not only seeks to reproduce a historical aesthetic: it also relies on a sound approach inspired by the SE114 guitar built in 1888.
From the very first notes, the instrument boasts rapid response, beautiful clarity and a delicate tone. The fan bracing combined with the Torres philosophy promotes a wide variety of tonal colours and a very lively playing experience. This personality is particularly suited to musicians who like to work on nuances, attacks and changes of intention in their playing.
The solid spruce top provides definition and precision, while the laminated maple back and sides keep the sound legible and balanced. The African mahogany neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard provide a natural feel.
Another interesting feature is the 50 mm nut, which is slightly narrower than the classic standard. This gives a slightly more compact feel under the left hand, and may ease the transition for players coming from folk guitar or looking for a narrower neck.
Designed for the Spanish Romantic repertoire, the works of Tárrega or Llobet, but also for traditional classical playing and acoustic fingerstyle, this Altamira Torres emphasises expression, finesse and nuance.
