Static Microphone
Miniature condenser microphone, Hyper cardioid with built-in preamp. The M1255BHC is designed for extremely high sensitivity. This, combined with very low-noise electronics, means it can be used as a distance microphone, overhead or on a conference desk. It is particularly effective in situations where obtaining the correct gain is a challenge, whether because the console has limited gain or the power of the sound source is reduced.

The hyper-cardioid microphone can be installed at half the working distance of a cardioid microphone if required, in situations where the volume is high on stage or there are many open microphones, this pattern is useful to further isolate the instrument or voice from the rest of the instruments on stage.
