Presentation
The Schoeps CCM 4 L is a compact condenser microphone with a cardioid pick-up pattern designed for the most demanding professional applications. It features a particularly linear frequency response and coloration-free sound reproduction, even in reverberant environments.
Its directional pattern remains constant across the entire bandwidth, guaranteeing excellent tonal stability, whether the sound comes from the centre or the sides. This characteristic makes it the ideal choice for capturing spoken or sung voice, as well as a wide variety of acoustic instruments.
Thanks to its optimised design, the CCM 4 L offers very good rejection of rear sound and effective reduction of the diffuse field, improving the clarity and precision of the signal picked up.
Compact and lightweight, it integrates easily into complex configurations, particularly for stereo recording (XY, ORTF, M/S) or as a spot microphone in broadcast, studio or live environments.
