Avantone Pro - MixCube Active Red Single

The Avantone MixCube Active Single Red follows in the footsteps of the famous reference loudspeakers known as "cubes", which have been used for decades to check the legibility and balance of a mix outside hi-fi systems. Its aim is not to flatter the listener, but to immediately reveal midrange, balance and level problems that can go unnoticed on conventional studio loudspeakers.

This active version incorporates an oversized Class A/B amplifier, designed to offer a comfortable reserve of dynamics and a coherent response, without artificial compression. The 5.25-inch full-range driver, mounted in a die-cast aluminium chassis, has been specifically developed by Avantone to ensure accurate, fast and perfectly controlled reproduction, without passive filtering or crossover.

The thick MDF enclosure limits resonance and promotes a clean transient response, essential for judging attack, vocals and mix balance. The MixCube Active Single can therefore be used effectively as a complement to a main system, but also as a mono monitor, particularly useful for checking the compatibility of mixes on current broadcast systems.

Designed for flexible integration, the speaker features balanced XLR and TRS jack inputs, as well as a standard 5/8" threaded socket for mounting on a microphone stand. Its characteristic Avantone red finish blends naturally into modern studio environments, while asserting its emblematic visual identity.
